VOLUNTEERS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

The Wellesley Little League and Girls' Softball programs rely on volunteers to maintain the high quality standards of our programs, which serve the youth of Wellesley.  A number of opportunities exist which call for a variety of talents and time commitments.  Please take a moment to consider how you can contribute to our organization.  Volunteer opportunities are listed below.

Sponsorship Co-Coordinator
 The sponsorship coordinators will work together to solicit sponsorship via a January mailing and follow-up communication involving email, phone calls and possibly on-site visits.  Once sponsors are in place, the sponsorship coordinators will assign sponsors to teams working closely with the league commissioners and uniform coordinator.  The majority of the effort is complete by mid-March.  Specific duties include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining a database of current and prospective sponsors, creating and mailing solicitation letters and subsequently thank you letters, maintaining current sponsor relationships, and mailing sponsorship thank you plaques.
