Fall Baseball 2010
Wellesley Little League Baseball is again, offering Fall Baseball. Fall Ball is a training and development program with no playoffs or trophies, just good baseball and a great time of the year to play ball!
Who: Players born from May 1, 1996 through April 30, 2003 (or 2nd grade as of Fall 2010), will play in four divisions. Divisions will be determined based on registrations received.
Divisions/Birth Dates
2nd Grade League All 2nd Graders
3rd Grade League All 3rd Graders
Rookie League All 4th Graders
Junior League All 5th, 6th, and 7th graders born on or after 5/1/1998
Senior League All 7th and 8th graders
When:
Junior League, will play two games, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, each weekend from September 11th through October 31st. (Occasionally, a team may only have 1 game on a given weekend. This is based on the number of teams per division.)
Rookie League will play every Saturday and every other Sunday. We try to schedule our Saturday games minimizing conflicts with the standard game times for the Wellesley United Soccer Club BAYS teams. Rainouts will not be made up. There will be no weekday practices.
Senior League will play on Friday and Sundays for the most part though there will be occassional Saturday and weekday games. Games will be scheduled with Newton, Needham, and Brookline.
Tentative game times will be:
Saturday
8:30/9:00am 3rd Grade League, Junior League
11:00am Rookie League
1:00pm 2nd Grade League
Sunday
1:00pm & 3:00pm Junior, Rookies(every other weekend)
* 2nd and 3rd Grade Leagues will only play one game a weekend.
Where: The 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, Rookie and Junior Divisions, will play on Little League diamonds. The Senior Division will play on the Intermediate Diamond.
Registration: All registrations will be processed online.
Cost:
$105 for all Rookie, Junior, and Senior League players
$95 for all 2nd and 3rd Grade players
Late Fee of $15 for 2nd & 3rd Grade registrations processed after the deadline of 8/15/2010. Late Fee of $35 for 4th through 8th Grade registrations processed after the 8/15/2010 deadline.
The registration deadline is August 15th. There will be a $20 charge for refunds issued after the registration deadline. There will be a No Refund policy after September 1st. If financial assistance is needed, please email us at

Coaches and assistant coaches wanted: We need volunteers to coach teams in all divisions. If you are interested, please check the appropriate box on the registration. It is also mandatory you fill out and mail in a Little League Intenational Volunteer Form if you have not already done this for Spring 2010.
